My shopping trip today was awesome!! I am so pooped from driving everywhere from Aurora to G.I. and back home. Between the kids and my destinations... I should be tired. But my shopping trip today was well worth it! Here's what I got:
Transaction #1
2x Crest Complete Deep Clen 5.8 oz. sale 2/$5
used two $2 off Crest Complete care coupons that I got in yesterdays paper from SS = 2/$1 or $.50 ea. OOP and then got back $3 in RR which ended up being a $2 money maker!
2x Old Spice bodywash BOGO 50% off $4.99
$4.99 and $2.50 = $7.49
used two BOGO FREE coupons from 08/14/11 SS (exp. 09/30) for Buy one Bodywash get one deodorant FREE (up to $5.49) SO THAT GAVE ME 2 FREE OLD SPICE DEODORANTS
& used two $1 off Old Spice Bodywash
Total for all four- $6.49 or $1.62ea OOP
1x Huggies Slip On Diapers sale price $8.99 (only diapers Jaxon wants to use)
used one $3 off Huggies Slip On Diapers (exp. 10/11) from 09/11 SS
Paid $5.99 OOP and got $2 in RR so it was like paying $3.99
I had to buy 5 filler items for this transaction because I had more coupons than I had a count on the number of items because I had $10 in RR from last weeks purchases. I got Lemon Heads different flavor candies on clearance for $.37ea ( I saw that I paid $1.29 for 2 of them because they were apparently labeled incorrectly, blah because I didn't notice it while she was doing the checkout)
Total for transaction- $38.01 after using my $10 in RR and coupons I paid OOP $8.53 before tax THATS A 79% SAVINGS!! woot!!

Paid $5.99 OOP and got $2 in RR so it was like paying $3.99

Used 3x $1/1Gain Liquid Laundry Soup coupons from 08/07 SS (exp (09/30) and 1x $2/1 Gain Powder (the manager allowed me to use this because they were out of stock on the powders after I got the last one :)
1x Gain 30 load powder Soap $5 on sale
Used 1x $2/1 Gain Powder from 09/11 SS (exp. 10/11)
2x Charmin Ultra 6 pk Double Roll toilet paper $4 on sale
Used 2x $.25/1 any Charmin TP

Used 3 fillers, again the LemonHeads and Airheads (again was charged $1.29 for 2 of them and didn't notice- going shopping with Jaxon sometimes has its disadvantages. Had to have the fillers because again I had manufacturer coupons for every product I was buying.
Total for transaction $55.30 after Walgreens advertized savings, the $7 in RR from my first two transactions, and the coupons used I paid OOP $21.45! THATS A 62% savings!! woot woot!!

1x Roberts 1 gal. Milk because I needed it $3.59
Total for transaction $28.71 after Walgreens advertised sales, the coupons, $10 in RR, and my mysterious $3 CAT I paid OOP $.52 and THAT makes me smile big! Thats roughly a savings of 98%!!!!
Wrapping it all up the total before any discounts or coupons was $143.40
I paid $36.49 OOP THATS A SAVINGS OF ROUGHLY 75% TOTAL or average price per item $1.01 and this is why I do this!
